J Andros is a writer, artist, scholar, and educator. Originally from the Washington, DC metropolitan area, he was exposed early to protests, and continues to work for solidarity and liberation, although now from New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area. His work has been featured on radio shows, in short films, in anthologies, and on stages across the world. J Andros co-founded the poetry publication Poets Reading the News and has taught creative writing at NYU and other institutions. Andros’ current focus is organizing a free school and sharing their performance of “American Influencers.”
